Bishop Visits GISS; Confirms Students

Our school is firmly grounded on Christian principles and all students are encouraged to practise their faith as Catholics, Anglicans, Pentecostals, etc. Our school has hosted bishops and leaders of the various denominations.

Last Saturday was one such occasion. The Catholic Auxiliary Bishop of Onitsha Archdiocese, His Lordship Most Rev. Dr. Denis Chidi Isizoh, graced GISS with his presence on Saturday 25 February for a pastoral visit during which he administered the Sacrament of Confirmation on 106 students of our school who are of the Catholic faith. See photos from the event below. We are very grateful to His Lordship.

Recall also that, in the past, our school had hosted the Anglican Bishop on the Niger, His Lordship The Right Reverend Ken S.E. Okeke, as well as leaders of the pentecostal faith.
