Grundtvig hosted over 25 schools from the South-East and South-South regions for the Award Ceremony of the American Mathematics Competition (AMC) and the Kangourou Sans Frontieres (KSF) organised by the International Academy for the Gifted, Abuja on 22nd June.

Schools that were present at the Grundtvig Auditorium for the event include Marist Brothers Juniorate, Uturu; Lakeland International School, Warri; University of Nigeria School, Nsukka; University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) Staff School, Benin; Federal Government Girls College, Owerri; Actus Dei International Secondary School, Onitsha; International Unity School, Warri; Marble Hill school, Asaba; among others.

Outstanding candidates from the various schools were presented with gold, silver and bronze awards. Among Grundtvig’s awardees, Kene Onubogu, Emmanuel Okike and Caleb Madu received Gold medals. Caleb Madu also came first in the Kangourou Sans Frontieres competition in the South East region with a score of 93%.
