We have just received the cheering news that our SS3 student, KAMSI ILOEGBUNAM, has been offered Xavier University’s Leadership Award scholarship worth $88,000 (about N40.5million) to resume on the Pre-Pharmacy program in August 2023. The Pre-Pharmacy program is a 2-year undergraduate course that Pharmacy students must first complete before moving onward to the PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy) program in the United States. Xavier University, which is a leading Jesuit Catholic University founded in 1831 in Cincinnati, Ohio, also undertook to cover the cost of Kamsi’s required textbooks for 4 years “no matter how expensive the books are”. We say hearty congratulations to Kamsi and wish her resounding success in her further studies.
