Grundtvig Student Wins USA Ivy League University Award

Following his excellent 97th percentile performance in the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) in 2018, Chibuike Ejiogu (SS3) has been offered admission into an Ivy League university, Dartmouth College, and shall be resuming by September 2019 on the Global Health pathway to Medicine. Dartmouth College also offered Ejiogu a $68,899 (N25m) scholarship in his first year with a written commitment to “match any better scholarship offer you receive from another Ivy League institution”. The Ivy League universities are a group of eight elite private universities which are generally viewed as some of the most prestigious in the US and are ranked among the best universities worldwide. They are noted for academic excellence and for being the hardest universities to get into. Dartmouth College, founded in 1769, is the ninth oldest institution of higher education in the US. It was ranked top ten in the Forbes 2018 ranking of US universities, 4th best in undergraduate teaching by US News & World Report 2018, and admitted only 7.9% out of tens of thousands of applicants this year. We congratulate Chibuike Ejiogu and wish him even greater accomplishments in future.
