Our SS3 student, REJOICE ANYAEGBU, has won the Distinction Award in the Spring 2026 Lumiere Scholars Essay Award for her essay on the topic, “Can AI and Organ Culture Replace the Use of Live Subjects for Experiments?” She was also awarded a scholarship toward the Lumiere Research Scholar Program.

The Lumiere Scholars Essay Award is a global essay competition designed to challenge ambitious high school students worldwide. The competition attracted over 2,100 essay submissions from more than 100 countries and was organised by Lumiere Education, USA, an organisation founded by Harvard and Oxford researchers.

Rejoice joins a growing list of Grundtvig students gaining international recognition. Congratulations to her on this remarkable achievement. We wish her even greater success in the future.
