Research in Pharmacy in University classed as “world leading”
Our ex-students continue to do us proud. We rejoice with Gift Chidinma Ani (Class of 2010) who graduated this year with a First Class Honours Masters of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Sunderland.
The University was recognised by The Guardian (UK) as England’s best new university in 2001, and research in Pharmacy at the University was classed as ‘world leading’ by the latest United Kingdom universities‘ Research Excellence Framework (REF 2014).
The University was also named in 2005 by The Times Higher Education Supplement (UK) as the top university in England for providing the best student experience, and was one of six universities in the United Kingdom to be short-listed for ‘University of the Year’ in the Times Higher Education Supplement Awards 2012.
We heartily congratulate Gift Chidinma Ani on this remarkable feat! Graduation marks the beginning of new opportunities and we wish her even greater achievements in future!
